How your information is handled
This policy sets out the information we collect through this website and by telephone, why it is held and who else sees it. It applies to Rodent Removal Atlanta and to the pages served at rodentremovalatlanta.org.
The information we collect
Two routes bring us personal information. When you submit the form, we receive the name, telephone number, email address, selected service and message that you typed, plus the page the form was sent from. When you telephone the number published on these pages, the call is handled through a call tracking service, which records your calling number, the time and duration of the call and which page or advertisement the number was displayed on, and calls may be recorded or transcribed for accuracy.
Separately, ordinary web server and analytics data is gathered as you browse: a truncated network address, the type of browser and device, the pages requested, and the site or search that referred you.
Why we hold it and what we do with it
The details you send are used to understand what is happening at the property and to arrange an inspection. To do that we share your information with an independent contractor who is licensed for the work and covers your part of metro Atlanta. That contractor then contacts you directly and handles your information under its own policy, so ask them for it if you want to read it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or to anyone outside the contractor network arranged for your job.
Cookies and analytics
These pages use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That service sets cookies in your browser and records the general region a visit came from rather than a street address. Browsers can be set to refuse cookies and every page here still works when they are refused. Call tracking also uses a cookie to tie a telephone call back to the page that produced it.
How long it is kept
Inquiry details are retained for two years so that a returning caller does not have to repeat the history of a property, then deleted. Call records follow the retention schedule of the call tracking provider. Analytics data is held in aggregate and carries no name or telephone number.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time. Contact us by telephone on (404) 924-6653 or through the contact form, and say which property the request concerns. A request to delete does not reach a contractor you have already engaged, since your agreement for services is with them, so contact that company as well.
Children
Nothing here is aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, telephone the number above and it will be removed.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the way we handle information changes, and the revision date at the top of the page will move when we do. Continuing to use the site after a revision means the revised policy applies to you.
